( if you're bringing over an old character)You wake up, your face is familiar, but the home you're in is not. This isn't your house. Those pictures are of you sure and family. But something is off. Are you going to investigate? Who will you talk to? The sun still comes up in the east and sets in the West. As a garou, you feel the world is different for sure. As a kinfolk, you're not the same and just feel it in your gut.

For the garou:
The world hasn't really changed on the surface but the War did come and it's over. The War of the Apocalypse ended 5 years ago.The time frame is today, modern age. The world keeps spinning unaware of the loss of most of the Garou. The Wyrm isn't so much of a threat anymore but Garou still linger as a rarity in the world. The Weaver has been gained control quite a bit and the Wyld has been damaged but still active and growing. The umbra is nearly impossible in most places. The spirits have been nearly wiped out or in slumber.
The world of the gaian wanes and the following is what you'd know:
1. Red Talons, Wendigo = extinct, non playable.
2 . Glass Walkers, Get of Fenrirs = The most rare, almost extinct being in the front front lines of war.
3. Fianna, Silver Fangs = Second rarest: front liners but just a step back.
4. Child of Gaia, Black Fury, Silent Striders, Uktena = rare but out there: messengers, healers, defenders.
5. Shadow Lords and Bone Gnawers = most common: smart fighters, survivors.. if you can't win, run away
As a Hunter:You were born with this power and it manifested. Somehow you dodged a bullet from fanatics and fascists and were found to learn how to control it, to do something with it. Welcome to Sanctum Terra, a group set out to spread the truth and protect humanity from the real threat, not every perceived one out there. It's a school, it's a way of life. Garou from all around have heard of an ancient Garou that's the wisest of them all. So the occasional garou that wanders by know they will be safe to stay or move on. We work with them if they want to stay. They are our allies and many others from different sects have helped out. A few things you need to know about this world are below
Humans, always active and around remain at the top or bottom of the food chain depending on how you see it.
Vampires have taken over where the influences of the Garou have left open opportunities
Hunters are more active now and on the watch out for any threat.
Mages have pulled back to stay in their dusty libraries
The Fae's influence on the magic in the world have begun to fade.
